Kids Supporting Kids: 5th Grader Supports The Henry V. Moran Foundation

Every child deserves a fair chance to live the life they’ve always dreamed. And ever since its humble beginnings, The Henry V. Moran Foundation’s major initiative has always been to help underprivileged kids develop the right character and leadership skills that would help them not only excel in sports, but in life as well.

Of course, it’s every organization’s dream to be able to reach out to like-minded individuals that share their vision. And this is a story of one such individual.

A while back, a grade 5 student by the name of William Raymond Terrence got in touch with the foundation regarding wanting to support our cause. As part of his school’s project, and also a part of his passion and love for the sport, William chose to help promote the Henry V. Moran Foundation’s efforts in raising the necessary funds for its projects.

“I want to do this because there are a lot of children who like football and can’t afford it. Among those children, might be the next Pele, Messi or Ronaldo. I also want to do this because I like football a lot and don’t want children who love football to miss the opportunity to play the game and experience the same fun that I do,” William writes.

Every little bit goes a long way. And any effort towards creating change is a welcome effort. However, the biggest lesson we can probably learn from William’s lesson is that even kids, no matter how young, can make a difference.
