Across five action-packed days, the energy at Aquinas was electric. Screeching sneakers, laughing players, and the steady rhythmic bounce of futsal balls filled the court as 32 passionate young campers gathered for the Pinay5 Summer Futsal Camp 2026.
More than just a week of sports training, this year’s summer camp was a celebration of youth empowerment, skill development, and community building. From technical drills to character-building moments, every session reinforced what makes futsal such a transformative sport for young Filipinos.

Building Skills and Character on the Court
At The Henry V. Moran Foundation, we believe in development through sports. Futsal isn’t just a game—it’s a dynamic classroom that teaches essential life values. Throughout the five days, our dedicated coaching staff designed an engaging curriculum that balanced athletic progression with personal growth.
The campers rotated through a variety of structured activities:
- Technical Station Drills: Fine-tuning ball control, precise passing, quick decision-making, and close-quarters movement.
- Fitness & Agility Challenges: Building physical endurance, balance, and spatial awareness suited for the fast-paced nature of futsal.
- Small-Sided Games & Match Play: Putting lessons into action, encouraging creative play, and learning how to communicate under pressure.
Beyond scorelines and tactical movement, every session was rooted in building teamwork, discipline, self-confidence, and a genuine love for the game. Whether a camper was stepping onto a court for the first time or refining their competitive edge, the growth seen from Day 1 to Day 5 was unmistakable.

Empowering the Next Generation of Filipino Athletes
The Pinay5 initiative continues to stand as a beacon for women’s and girls’ grassroots futsal in the Philippines. By creating safe, supportive, and accessible spaces to play, we aim to bridge gaps in youth sports and inspire young girls to pursue their athletic potential.
Seeing 32 young players support one another, celebrate each other’s goals, and lift each other up after every fall embodies the heart of the Pinay5 mission. The resilience and camaraderie on display serve as a powerful reminder of what happens when young athletes are given the platform and encouragement to thrive.
A Shared Effort: Heartfelt Gratitude
An initiative like this takes a dedicated community working together behind the scenes. We want to extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who helped make the Pinay5 Summer Futsal Camp 2026 a resounding success:
- Our Campers: Thank you for showing up every single day with enthusiasm, grit, and joy. Your passion is why we do what we do.
- The Parents & Guardians: Thank you for your trust, dedication, and constant support from the sidelines.
- Our Coaches & The Pinay5 Team: Thank you for your tireless energy, mentorship, and commitment to shaping both the skills and character of our young athletes.
- Aquinas: Thank you for welcoming us and providing a safe, top-tier venue for our campers to learn and play.
Looking Ahead
As the whistle blows to mark the end of another successful summer camp, our work continues. The smiles, hard-earned achievements, and friendships built during these five days continue to inspire our team at The Henry V. Moran Foundation.
We remain committed to expanding access to futsal, empowering public school communities, and creating more pathways for young Filipinos to discover their potential—both on and off the court.
