The sound of cheering fans, squeaking sneakers, and intense court action echoed across Calapan City as the High 5 Futsal League – Oriental Mindoro Futsal Festival officially kicked off on July 18, 2026.
Held at the Barangay Sta. Rita Covered Court, this milestone event marked the foundation’s expansion into Mindoro, bringing together passionate teams from different municipalities for a day defined by high-octane competition, sportsmanship, and island community spirit.
More than just a one-day tournament, the festival served as the official introduction of the High 5 Futsal League to the province—setting the groundwork to establish a sustainable, regular High 5 season for Mindoro’s youth in the years ahead.

The festival showcased top-tier grassroots talent from Naujan, Baco, Bongabong, and Calapan City. Both the Men’s and Women’s divisions delivered thrilling matches that had local supporters on their feet.

By converting these spaces into competitive futsal hubs, the High 5 Futsal League creates direct pathways for regional athletes to develop their skills, build confidence, and gain exposure for higher-education sports scholarships and national program scouting.
